Board Customization
As standard, boards are built in plain wood with a discreet Ondanova logo on deck and bottom, and a 5 mm mahogany stringer. Some photos may show boards with aesthetic variations (colored rail bands, thicker or multiple stringers, or different logo placements). Unless selected as an option, these elements are not included and the board will be delivered in its standard version.
If you choose options other than the standard configuration, we will contact you after your order to confirm the details (colors, stringer thickness or placement, logo style and position).
Midlength 2+1
The Midlength 2+1 is a versatile board designed for smooth, flowing surfing in a wide range of conditions. It combines the paddle power and glide of a longer board with the maneuverability of a shorter shape.
The balanced outline provides stability and easy wave entry, while still allowing the board to turn smoothly from the rail. It catches waves easily, builds speed naturally, and feels comfortable in both small waves and more powerful surf.
The bottom features a double concave running through most of the board, blending into a slight V around the fin area. The double concave helps generate speed and keeps the board lively, while the V near the tail makes rail-to-rail transitions smoother and helps the board turn more easily.
This is my favorite everyday board and the closest thing to a one-board quiver. It works well in many types of waves and rewards a relaxed style, clean lines, and smooth turns.
The board can be ridden as a single fin for a loose, flowing feeling, or with a 2+1 setup for more control and hold when the waves get bigger or steeper.
