Displacement Hull
If you’re looking for a different kind of surfing, the Hull is designed around flow and connection.
Rather than sharp turns or quick direction changes, it prefers trim, rail engagement, and clean lines across the wave. The feeling is smoother, more continuous, less about reacting, more about positioning.
The wide point is placed forward, encouraging front-foot surfing and early rail engagement. The belly allows the board to move through the water rather than planing on top of it, creating a softer, more fluid sensation. Once engaged on rail, the board builds speed naturally and maintains it with very little effort. This creates a unique feeling that only a displacement hull can provide.
The Hull suits surfers who enjoy reading the wave, choosing their line carefully, and letting the board run rather than forcing direction.
Best suited for clean waves with open faces, where longer lines allow the board to fully express its potential.

Board Customization
As standard, boards are built in plain wood with a discreet Ondanova logo on deck and bottom, and a 5 mm mahogany stringer. Some photos may show boards with aesthetic variations (colored rail bands, thicker or multiple stringers, or different logo placements). Unless selected as an option, these elements are not included and the board will be delivered in its standard version.
If you choose options other than the standard configuration, we will contact you after your order to confirm the details (colors, stringer thickness or placement, logo style and position).
